At this point, I was beginning to feel confident with fruits and for fun created this from my imagination, without a model. When creating from memory, the result is usually not just an oversimplification of the subject matter, but also an idealization, where even the “defects” like a tear or dent, help depict our romantic constructs of what things should like like, instead of what they really are.
The only real depiction here was from the guava slice I was given.
Once captured in oil forever, I ate it.
